Academic Achievement Middle School Student
In Honor Society For Three Consecutive Years

MIDWEST CITY—DeAsia Henderson, 13, a student at Carl Albert Middle School, has been in the National Junior Honor Society for three consecutive years.
The eighth grade student achieved two A’s and three B’s in each of two of this academic year’s grading periods, as well as four A’s and a B in another grading period.
As she prepares to enter high school, the teenager said she wants to continue achieving academically.
She said she hopes her academic performance will result in the receipt of scholarships that help make it possible for her to attend college.
The eighth grade student has ambitions of eventually becoming a medical doctor.
The Carl Albert Middle School student is the daughter of Kia Henderson.
