500-Plus Positions
Career Fair, and Oil & Gas Jobs Pavilion Is

Scheduled Wednesday

 

More than 30 major area oil and gas industry employers, and employers from other industries will be included in a job fair scheduled for next week.
The 2012 Oklahoma City Career Fair, and Oil & Gas Jobs Pavilion will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel at the Reed Conference Center.
More than 500 entry-level to management-level jobs will be offered by employers, and positions are available in a wide variety of industries, a statement said.
The statement said that job offering areas include sales, marketing, information technology, administration and customer service.
Also, job offering areas include engineering, skilled trades, manufacturing, accounting, transportation and health care.
Companies participating in the job fair include Frac Tech, Stewart & Stevenson, Sunoco Logistics, National Oilwell Varco, Patterson UTI Drilling, Haliburton, Basic Title, MidFirst Bank, Drive Time, Chipotle, Braum’s and numerous others.
Human resources professionals from Workforce Oklahoma will be on-hand to provide job seekers free resumee critiques.
Job-aspirants are being encouraged to dress professionally, to bring plenty of copies of resumees, to be prepared to interview on-the-spot and to arrive early.
